The India Art Festival (IAF) has returned to Delhi, marked by the ceremonial lamp lighting by Padam Shri Pandit Satish Vyas and eminent artist Vasudev Kamath.
Featuring 400 young, emerging, and master artists from different parts of India, the festival showcases a stunning collection of 3,500 exquisite artworks housed within 100 captivating booths. Known for its immersive sensory experience, the India Art Festival aims to engage the imagination of all who attend.
Rajendra Patil, Director of IAF, has highlighted the festival’s unique offerings, stating, “This year, as a collateral event, the festival hosts fusion shows integrating different art forms, live music performances, live painting demonstrations, and film screenings across all four days.” A particular highlight is the screening of ‘The Eternal Canvas: A 12,000-Year Journey through Indian Art,’ a cinematic exploration of India’s rich artistic heritage spanning millennia, which will be showcased daily during the festival.
Visitors can expect to witness an impressive display of diverse art styles, ranging from figurative to abstract, traditional, architectural, landscapes, religious art, and wildlife art, catering to a wide spectrum of tastes and preferences.
