New Delhi, October 18, 2023: Brace yourself for an explosion of colors and a celebration of boundless creativity as the much-awaited India Art Festival prepares to make a triumphant comeback to the heart of Delhi this November. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Constitution Club of India on Rafi Marg, the festival is poised to captivate art enthusiasts with its dazzling display of over 3,500 masterpieces by 400 talented artists, showcased across 100 vibrant booths.
From November 2nd to 5th, 2023, the Constitution Club of India will be transformed into a cultural haven, offering a rich tapestry of artistic experiences. The festival promises to be a melting pot of artistic expressions, featuring fusion shows, live music performances, live painting demonstrations, and enthralling film screenings. A highlight of the event will be the enlightening film “The Eternal Canvas – 12,000 Years Journey through Indian Art,” a cinematic odyssey through the rich tapestry of India’s artistic heritage, tracing its evolution from ancient times to contemporary expressions.
Established in 2011, the India Art Festival has cemented its position as a premier contemporary art fair in India, providing a vital platform for emerging artists and mid-level art galleries. The upcoming edition in New Delhi marks not only the 8th installment in the capital but also the 25th milestone edition across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The festival has grown to become a much-coveted event for art collectors, enthusiasts, and galleries, nurturing the burgeoning art scene in the country.
Rajendra Patil, the visionary founder director of India Art Festival and President of the esteemed Bombay Art Society, articulated the festival’s mission, stating, “Our primary goal has always been to provide a launchpad for emerging artists and mid-level galleries, enabling them to access a wider audience.
